Blog Slacker

So let me tell you all about the last few months........

Most of you know by now we are Louisianans!! Early November Mark took a job working on a pipeline that runs from Oklahoma to Louisiana, and will eventually continue on to Georgia and maybe even Florida. So far Louisiana has treated us nicely. The weather is a lot like Houston, the people are extremely friendly, and the food is FABULOUS!!

December was BUSY!!

Kennedy turned ONE, it is crazy how much she has grown in just one year. She is so much fun, and always on the go. She makes us smile nonstop, and has a personality like no other. She loves to dance, laugh, give hugs and kisses, high fives, and one of her new favorite things to do is share popsicles with her daddy. She plays hard, eats a ton, and sleeps only when she can't go anymore!!

Her Birthday party was super fun! Huge thanks to everyone who made it so special!!

Christmas this year was WONDERFUL!!! We got to spend a little time with everyone!!

Kennedy spent time with her Grandma & Grandpa Armstrong, Grandma & Grandpa Jacobs, Granddaddy Clyde and the girls. She was spoiled rotten by both Uncle Kyle, and Uncle Lux(Jason)!! We also spent an afternoon with Mimi & Papa, Aunt Debbie, Aunt Susan, Uncle Richard, Uncle Lynn, and our cousin Shannan and her son Cole(Kennedy had loads of fun playing with Cole and his cool toys). We also saw Uncle Jim, Aunt Meli, and cousins, Josie, Cody, and Mickey. Here are some of my favorite pics:)
I took several hundred....so bare with me;)

Welcome 2009!!!!

We rang in the new year with tons of friends! Funny thing is.....we were home and in bed before 1am(dang we're OLD)!! Thank you to Burleson's and Orum's for opening up your homes! We are so blessed to have such an incredible family of friends!!

One last thing before I wrap it up.........The Elliott's are seven weeks PREGO!!! We have our first prenatal appt. February 2nd!!!! Our family is thrilled and is ALREADY anxiously awaiting the arrival of our little one!! We will be sure to keep everyone updated during this wonderful time of our lives!!
