We're still alive;) We are all doing great! Kennedy is sooooo flippin' cute. She keeps us busy, and smiling everyday! She's starting to build a vocabulary, which consist of mainly one word....DADA! She is the biggest DADDY'S GIRL ever!! She has her own version of "tickle, tickle, tickle" ,it sounds something like dickle, dickle, dickle. It is one of the cutest things I have ever heard. She has mastered crawling, and is on her way to walking. All her toys are now walkers, and she moves from one piece of furniture to the next w/o hesitation. She even lets go and will take a few steps all by her self(she thinks this is super funny). Its all going so freakin' fast. It feels like just yesterday she was learning how to sit on her own, and now she's walking!!! When she's not trying to walk she is eating, and man can she eat! Breakfast is by far her biggest meal. A typical breakfast starts sometime between 7 or 7:30 and consist of 1 whole egg(scrambled), 1 whole waffle, 1/2 of banana(sometimes a whole banana), 3-4oz of apple juice, and she likes to end with a 1/2 cup of cheerios. Breakfast usually takes 30-45 minutes, and then its time to start our day:) She is quite the character!! Speaking of characters, check out our little Dumbo.....
This is what Kennedy picked for her first Halloween costume!!
Is she not the cutest elephant you have ever seen?
Below are a few more Fall pictures....
About a month ago she had her 9 month doctors appointment. Doc said she looks great and is a super healthy, happy, growing baby! She fell in the 92% in head(18cm),50% in height(27.5in),and <3% in weight(14lb 14oz). Little K took her shots like a champ, and got to pick not just one, but two rubber duckies for being so brave;) Mark and I were very proud!!
P.S. I promise you all will hear from us before another 3 months goes by;)
HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL

She's 7 Months!!!!!
Can you believe it.....our little girl is already 7 months. Time is cruisin by. Everyday is something new and everyday she brings so much more joy to our lives. On Friday of last week(her 7 month b-day)she figured out how to go from laying down to sitting up. She also started pulling herself up on just about everything she can get her hands on. We're also on our way to crawling:) She's been up in the position rocking back and forth for several weeks now, and just yesterday her rocks turned into forward movement!!!
Here are some fun photos that were taken over the weekend:)

What a busy week......6 Months, Father's Day & 8th State
We started the week with Kennedy's 6th month doctors appointment. Doctor H confirmed.....she's still tall and thin just like her daddy;)
75% Head, 50% Height and 10% Weight
She took her shots like a champ. A few screams followed by a couple of tears then within seconds she was smiling, and laughing at daddy:)
For Father's Day weekend we were blessed to be able to spend it with all the father's. We visited Granddaddy Clyde on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday morning, Then drove north to Louisiana and spent Sunday and Monday morning with Grandpa Randy. We had a great trip and really enjoyed the beautiful countryside and all the small towns we traveled through. We even drove across the Louisiana/Arkansas border just so Kennedy could visit her 8th state. She's a travelin fool at the young age of six months;)
Goodbye for now, hope all is well and everyone is enjoying the HOT SUMMER!!!

Soooo Big:)
Our little girl is growing like a weed!! A few weeks ago we cut our FIRST tooth:) We could tell something was happening when all she wanted to do was chew, chew, chew. Hands, toes, toys, cold washcloths(thanks grandma Elliott)you name it, it allll goes to the mouth. Were super excited and are anxious for more to come!
Last month we went on our first family vacation to Illinois and Iowa. We had a great time and want to send out a huge thank you to everyone up North who made us feel at home.
Here are some pics from the trip and a few from around the house. I'm putting together her 4 month album that should be out by her 6 month b-day! Kidding, I'll try to get it out this week.
Hope all is well, and remember..."Go Green" We can all make a difference;)

Wow!! Kennedy is 14 Weeks Old!
My Oh My where has the time gone? Our little angel is growing so darn fast! Sorry about slackin on the updates. Mark and I were sure things were gonna slow down once Kennedy joined our family, however it's the opposite. We find ourselves busier now than ever before. What the heck were we thinking, and what are we gonna do w hen she starts adding to the list of things to do!
Kennedy updates: 97% height, 91% head, and 25% weight.....yep, still tall and thin like her daddy;) She has mastered rolling over. We put her down on her back, and with in seconds she's on her belly! It doesn't take long before she's frustrated cause she can't get back to her back. We're hoping she figures this out soon, that way were not having to listen to her high pitched scream while she struggles to roll back. She is such a cutie pie:) We have also mastered sleeping though the night(for the most part). Bedtime is between 8:30/9 and we wake sometime between 6:30/7! All of us(even Jazzy girl)are super excited we are getting a good nights rest! Jazzy used to wake when Kennedy would, wait to make sure one of us was up, then take off to the bath tub where she would spend the rest of the night in peace(crazy dog)!
Kennedy has brought so much joy to our lives! She smiles, laughs, and has just recently started talking. Everyday is something new and everyday is truly a blessing!

7 weeks already!
Kennedy is 7 weeks as of yesterday, and all I can say is WOW! She sure has grown, and fast! I put together a slide show of some of my favorite pictures. Its hard to only pick a few.....I love all 1500 or so we've taken.
She sure keeps me on my feet! We have a very active schedule, our morning starts around 5:30/6:00 we eat, then read/sing, then we go down for our first nap(this is our best one...she gives me about 2hrs.)! Then were up for another feeding, and playtime. Which consists of sitting in her chair looking outside, laying on the activity mat, playing with our sock puppets, and dancing(which she LOVES). We get really tired from all this play, so down we go for another nap. This one is never as good as the first(40mins to an 1hr.). Yep, you guessed it, up for more FOOD!! She sure does love to eat....weighing in over 9lbs. Now its bath time, and she reallllly loves this time of our day! I'm pretty sure shes gonna be a fish like her mama:) On super fussy days(which we have had our share of) we spend anywhere from 45mins. to an hour splashing and singing in the kitchen sink! Then were off to dream land, and this one is usually a pretty good one(1hr. to 90mins.). All that splashing I guess! Daddy is usually home by the time were wrapping up our next feeding. Which is great timing...we get a little family time, then off to bed for her last nap. This is when Mark and I have our time!! Dinner, wine, TV time, and adult conversations;) which is definitely needed by this time of the day. Kennedy wakes around 8:30/9 for her last feeding and then right back to bed for the night. We get anywhere from 5 to 6 hours of sleep out her during this time. We wake and eat, then back to bed for another 2 to 3 hrs. Then we do it alllll over again:) Occasionally, we get out and venture down to Grandma and Grandpa's house. Which we ALL love! Except for the car ride, Kennedy HATES her car seat. I get a break(thanks mom and dad, you guys are great), they get to spoil her with lovin:),and Kennedy gets a change of scenery. Its a win, win, win:) Weekends run close to the same, but we do have daddy at home during this time, and he is a HUGE help! He takes on pretty much all the late night feedings so I can get some solid sleep. Kennedy gets daddy playtime, which consists of games like.....show daddy how much you love him(her arms are always straight out during this game), stealin kisses, dookey dancin, and let me see that pretty smile! They have a great time together. We all are having fun learning how to fit, its a dance in itself, and I wouldn't change for the world!
